Rather than deliver training to meet the training package, we do quite the opposite and match your skills and experince to the qualification standards.
It is our goal to increase the productivity of staff in the Hospitality Industry by providing recognition and quality training that is simple and uncomplicated for both the employer and employee.
Chef Central is a Private Registered Training Organisation with a unique difference. We are not a traditional school/college and we do not offer fulltime courses for Domestic/International students. Instead we focus our energy on marrying previously acquired skills and knowledge of an individual to the appropriate qualification.
Chef Centrals focus is on client satisfaction, we are consistently upgrading our systems, processes and gathering feedback all of which enable us to provide high quality and efficient service to our clients.
March 2009 Chef Central was approved to deliver City and Guilds International Qualifications. This achievement further supports Chef Centrals commitment to quality.
We do this through:

* Providing thorough technical and academic resources;
* Employment of subject matter experts that have extensive indutry experience and remain gainfully employed in their field of expertise;
* Working within the framework of the AQTF and industry business practices, to achieve complete solutions.
Typical clients of Chef Central are those that have been working in the Hospitality Industry for many years, however for one reason or another they have not gained a qualification. This is were our assessors, who are currently Industry experts, are able to recognise the skills gained over the years and match them to the qualification standards.
Another client type is one that wants to upgrade the current qualification to the next level, we call this professional development. On occasions the client will have to complete up skilling. Once more our assessors base this around their current workplace enabling the client to clearly interpret what is expected. Our assessors are Trade Qualified Professionals with many years of Industry/Technical experience.
We do not to accept clients that have insufficient experience; therefore, Chef Central's policy is a guaranteed qualification on successful completion of the Skills Assessment process.
